This is one of my favourite doodles so far. It takes weirdness to a whole new level.

Grumpy Goat tooketh the whole grains, but the benevolent Quaker Goat giveth them back. It was the right thing to do.
Welcome to goat week! 4 days of goat-centered wonderfulness.
text: "There used to be whole grains, but the goat ate them!" I decided over the winter to give my husband some old-fashioned cutout snowflakes. I thought it would be fun to leave them folded so that he could have the joy of opening them himself. Here is what he found in his lunch: He immediately decided they were dinosaur sculptures to be displayed on his desk, so he never unfolded them: I had to tell him they were actually snowflakes. I think he was disappointed...
This pun, it doesn't work. At all. Who let me try and write puns at 7:30 in the morning? Who? (And what about this poor thing's anatomy? That is truly a crime against art.)
I was attempting to draw a cute llama, but he turned out kind of hyper and psychotic, like he hadn't slept for days.
He probably discovered Leverage was on Netflix, and decided to try and marathon the whole thing in one sitting because it's *that* good. This winter was cold. On an average day I have difficulty motivating myself out of bed. With the polar vortex making the air temperature frigid enough to see my breath *inside* the house, I spent most mornings hunkered down under the covers like a hibernating bear.
This is a seasonal parody of the Regular Show song "Summertime Loving, Loving in the Summer (Time)" by Solid Bold.
Transcribed Lyrics (because my writing is hard to read): It's Autumn-time and the leaves are looking fine. Gonna sit out on the porch, gonna sip some cider wine. It's autumn-time and it's almost time for snow. Gonna sit beside a fire, gonna cuddle nice and slow. Autumn-time luh-uh-uving, it's lovin' in the autumn-time... For our anniversary, my husband and I sat down to watch the Bollywood film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It is the perfect couples' movie, with plenty of romance and heartstring pulling. It also has the most well-rounded human characters we've seen in recent memory, with all the flaws, strengths, quirks, emotions, and awkwardness of real people. Even though it is a love story, I wouldn't classify it as a "chick-flick;" there is enough comedy, action, drama, intrigue, plot twisting, and full-scale musical dancing to keep the average movie-goer entertained. We would both highly recommend this film.
The note is a reference to one of the songs from the movie, "Dance Pe Chance," which talks about creating a step that will make you hep. |
