This is the Valentine's Day card I drew for my husband, featuring Inspector Zenigata and Lupin from Lupin III, drawn in the style of Doraemon.
Lupin III is one of our favourite series (we may or may not frequently break out into a duet of the theme song while bumbling around the house), and Doraemon was one of the only shows he watched during his stint in in Spain. He had requested that both series make an appearance before the conclusion of this theme, but I don't think he expected me to smash them together into one note. When he saw this card last night he almost fell over laughing.
Today we are hopefully going to celebrate by making a trip out to Mitsuwa Marketplace for delicious Japanese food, followed by a movie night (I'm leaning toward either Kingsman or C'est Si Bon).
