This was my response to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. 
Time-altering killer robots = more plausible plotline
...fast forward to a few months ago when I stuck this note into his lunch. He enjoyed the original "animals sitting on space ships" image so much that I just had to do an encore poking fun at Mass Effect. [Normandy concept art (c) Mikko Kinnunen]  The hamster must be this big to justify the number of credits it cost I have a long history of sneaking photoshopped elements into my husband's desktop backgrounds and waiting for him to notice. Last year he had this image of Enterprise sailing across his computer screen, and I decided the reason the ship was tipping to one side must be because of a giant space cat taking a nap on the warm nacelles. [original image (c) The Light Works]  The continuing voyage of the MeowMX-01... Nathaniel ran a tragic-horror RPG session where the big bad guys were phasing Grue, whose teeth were the only things you could see in the darkness.  (not an accurate depiction of their personalities) Another bit of commentary on Twin Peaks. My husband and I marathoned the show a few months back. We loved the characters, the intrigue, and the sci-fi/horror elements, and we could see the show steadily building toward some sort of huge climax at the Black Lodge. We were so disappointed. 
We still plan on buying "Fire Walk with Me / Missing Pieces," though.

The 10th Doctor in the style of Quentin Blake.  The Doctor is worried about being in charge of his own TARDIS for the first time. Will he be able to cope with all the responsibility of time, space, his companions, England and, above all, the chastising of potential invaders of Earth? Here are a couple of old digital doodles I made for him.  Porthole windows are a key element of interstellar travel  References to some important cultural icons T'Pol can't quite hide her feelings for the crew.
