A quick and poorly-drawn doodle based on Carbon Leaf's song "What About Everything?."
Here are a couple of old digital doodles I made for him.
Act now and we'll thrown in a copy of "I'm My Own Grandpa, Vol. II: I'm My Own Great-Grandpappy!"
There is a legitimate moon cat in Space Quest: Vohaul Strikes Back. It looks nothing like this; but as soon as I heard about it I drew this note, and then ran around the house singing a parody of "Moonshadow"... I'm being followed by a moon cat, moooon cat, moon caaaaaat...
We are probably the only two people on the planet who didn't really care for Secret of Mana, but at least the muppety Popoi made for good lunch note fodder, so something positive came from buying the game.
Fun fact: The song "Mah-Nà Mah-Nà" is actually "Viva la Sauna Svedese" by Piero Umilani. It was originally composed as throwaway background music for the soundtrack of a 1960's Italian documentary about Sweden. The song was written in less than a minute, and the composer considered it "worthless." This is a seasonal parody of the Regular Show song "Summertime Loving, Loving in the Summer (Time)" by Solid Bold.
Transcribed Lyrics (because my writing is hard to read): It's Autumn-time and the leaves are looking fine. Gonna sit out on the porch, gonna sip some cider wine. It's autumn-time and it's almost time for snow. Gonna sit beside a fire, gonna cuddle nice and slow. Autumn-time luh-uh-uving, it's lovin' in the autumn-time... For our anniversary, my husband and I sat down to watch the Bollywood film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It is the perfect couples' movie, with plenty of romance and heartstring pulling. It also has the most well-rounded human characters we've seen in recent memory, with all the flaws, strengths, quirks, emotions, and awkwardness of real people. Even though it is a love story, I wouldn't classify it as a "chick-flick;" there is enough comedy, action, drama, intrigue, plot twisting, and full-scale musical dancing to keep the average movie-goer entertained. We would both highly recommend this film.
The note is a reference to one of the songs from the movie, "Dance Pe Chance," which talks about creating a step that will make you hep. |
