This note was motivated by my husband's response in this GameCola article, as well as his current playthrough of Tomb Raider 3.

Dango-san is so happy he cannot even handle it right now. (I'm including the "know your meme" link because I had to explain the (un)grammatical construction of this note to my husband).
Something tells me rice flour and water are not a stable combination.
The adventure continues. Who even puts candy on the edge of a cliff?
(I can't help but think of the main character from Humanity has Declined every time I read this note) After spending over a month straight working on decorations for a friend's Clannad-themed wedding reception, I decided to do a short series of lunch notes starring an anthropomorphized dango character.
I asked my husband what he wanted for a note, and he said "something aesthetically pleasing." I translated that to mean "anatomically inaccurate mermaid."
What? You want a bad Wolverine joke? Well I aim to please...
My hubby was playing through Castlevania: Rondo of Blood as Maria, who has a cat based attack. (Seriously, she throws cats at the undead, and it's surprisingly effective.) I couldn't help but wonder why Dracula's castle was full of kittens, and decided that he must secretly be a crazy cat lady in disguise. So here is my game-inspired note depicting Dracula happily snuggled up with his kitty friends.
This note was inspired by this website, "Spurious Correlations."
My husband was angrily trying to shove the new flour container onto the top shelf of the cupboard, and ended up knocking a full bottle of rice vinegar onto the counter, where it shattered in a glorious explosion of microscopic glass shards and foul-smelling liquid. As if that weren't bad enough, the vinegar ran over the side of the counter and into the silverware drawer below, where it proceeded to coat the cutlery, soak into the drawer liner, and be absorbed into the wood itself. The kitchen smelled like vinegar for weeks.
