In order to humour him, I continued Chestnut's adventures, so this ended up being part 1/7 instead of the intended one-shot.
I recently played through Botanicula, and was enamoured by the art style, character designs, and humourous background touches that add depth and interest to the game world. One background element that particularly tickled me was the flying chestnut that buzzes around the chestnut village. He serves no gameplay purpose, but I thought he was cute and clever, and decided to dedicate a lunch note to him.
