My hubby was playing through Castlevania: Rondo of Blood as Maria, who has a cat based attack. (Seriously, she throws cats at the undead, and it's surprisingly effective.) I couldn't help but wonder why Dracula's castle was full of kittens, and decided that he must secretly be a crazy cat lady in disguise. So here is my game-inspired note depicting Dracula happily snuggled up with his kitty friends.

Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki is pure, distilled happiness. If you are a cat-person (you are using the internet, so you must be), then this is your new favourite show.
Here are a couple of old digital doodles I made for him.
Does no one else think of these things? I'm playing as a cat, who is wearing armor made from fish-people. It's obviously food.
There is a legitimate moon cat in Space Quest: Vohaul Strikes Back. It looks nothing like this; but as soon as I heard about it I drew this note, and then ran around the house singing a parody of "Moonshadow"... I'm being followed by a moon cat, moooon cat, moon caaaaaat...
This is an older note that should have been posted around the time of our anniversary. I left it on his desk along with a custom-ordered bottle of Jones soda that used a picture from our wedding album.
Finally! A somewhat realistic-looking cat! Huzzah!
This note was inspired by the classic Sophia Loren movie Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (Ieri, Oggi, Domani). When my husband and I were on our honeymoon, we stayed at a lovely B&B that had a large family of housecats, one of whom, named Number 4, decided to adopt us for the weekend. He followed us around on our walks, and then later snuck into our room and ungracefully wedged himself between us as we were trying to sleep.
Note: My thought bubble should be read with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for children on Christmas morning. My husband's thought bubble should be read with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for seeing a small child approach one's computer keyboard with a glass of juice and a sense of mischievous curiosity. |
